NL        Het werk van Camille is vrouwelijk, sculpturaal en veranderlijk. Het vocabularium van de werken bevindt zich op het kruispunt tussen object en de architectuur. Met deze gevoeligheid voor design creëert Le Meur totaalinstallaties. In situ en op maat van de ruimte puzzelt ze elementen ineen die ze vooraf ontwierp en in de ruimte en combinaties worden ze opnieuw. De etalage wordt verlicht door haar sculptuur die reflecteert door de reflecterende plafond en vloerschildering. Ruwe materialen worden gecombineerd met geconstrueerde en overbewerkte elementen en desondanks de aanwezigheid van de materialiteit blijft deze onduidelijk. 

Camille Le Meur is afkomstig van de academie in Lyon en studeerde deze zomer af aan KASK Gent. Le Meur is momenteel resident te Villa Belleville, Parijs. 

EN        Camille's work is feminine, sculptural and changeable. The vocabulary of the works is located at the intersection between object and architecture. With this sensitivity to design and architecture, Le Meur creates total installations. In situ and tailored to the space, she puzzles together the elements that she designed beforehand. The shop window is illuminated by her sculpture which reflects through the reflective ceiling and floor painting.

        At first sight it is difficult to determine which materials are used. Raw materials are combined with constructed and overworked elements. Camille Le Meur comes from the academy in Lyon and graduated from KASK Gent this summer. Le Meur is currently resident at Villa Belleville, Paris.
