NL Paulien Föllings medium bij uitstek tot op heden was beeldhouwkunst, waarin steeds de wisselwerking tussen de sculptuur, de ruimte en de toeschouwer onderzocht. Door gebruik te maken van architecturale elementen, het geabstraheerde lichaam en de suggestie van beweging in een stilstaand beeld. Voor ALLES STROOMT toont Föllings haar recente werk op papier. Als een theaterdecor zullen deze fragiele werken zich in de loop van de tentoonstelling openbaren en verschillende composities aannemen.
Föllings studeerde in 2005 af aan de AKV Sint Joost in s' Hertogenbosch. Na enkele jaren in Amsterdam gewerkt te hebben, verhuisde ze in 2008 naar Antwerpen. Tot ze haar 2-jarige werkperiode begon aan het Hoger Instituut voor Schone Kunsten (HISK) in Gent waar ze laureaat werd in 2012. Momenteel woont en werkt ze in Brussel, België. Haar werk was te zien in Stedelijk Museum s'Hertogenbosch, P/////akt Amsterdam, Art Rotterdam, Electriciteitscentrale Brussel, Kunsthalle Wenen (AT), "Nationa(a)l expo" Brussel.

EN Paulien Föllings used to have only a sculptural practice, in which she investigated the interaction between the sculpture, the space and the viewer. By using architectural elements, the abstracted body and the suggestion of movement in a still image. For ALLES STROOMT, Föllings shows her recent works on paper. As if it where a theatre set, these fragile works on paper will reveal themselves in the course of the exhibition and take on different compositions. Determining the position of the image in space now takes place within the boundaries of the paper.
