Lives and works in Brussels (BE)

Recente solo-tentoonstellingen zijn no needs an another mountain (Ballon Rouge Collective, Brussel), The JOY corner (Szenne, Brussel), Summer Studio (Moonens Foundation, Brussel) en bij Platform 102 (Brussel). Philip was eerder kunstenaar-in-residentie bij AIR Antwerpen, Szenne, Les Brigitinnes, Moonens Foundation en WIELS.

EN         For ALLES STROOMT Philip Janssens continued to expand in situ installations of woven curtains, which are made from a mysterious yet fascinating reflective textile that catches or bounces the light and appears to float in the air. The intensive process of sewing and braiding by hand almost foreshadows the meditative trance that the works exert on their audience. For this exhibition, Philip also integrates plants into this work.
